OpenCounter – A Step Forward for Commercial Development in Paducah
Whether Commercial Real Estate is your niche, or you have simply developed an interested in that area, this new project is for YOU!
IN CASE YOU MISSED IT
OpenCounter is a software company specializing in helping citizens, developers, – and realtors – navigate the sometimes-confusing waters of permitting and zoning requirements. Paducah recently announced the launch of two new user-friendly online tools centered around business development and project scoping!
The Zoning Portal is the first tool in Scope My Project. It allows those who use it to explore where different business types are permitted throughout Paducah. Business Permitting Portal is the second tool, which shows users specific license, permits, and requirements for constructing, renovating, and developing a business in Paducah.
Recently, I went to a training on OpenCounter and I can personally say that it is super user friendly and a tool that I’ll use regularly! Everyone can benefit from it for your own knowledge and for your clients. Instead of searching through the 100+ page zoning ordinance sheet to know if your client’s business is permitted or not, you can simply use the map in the Zoning Portal! The Business Permitting Portal provides an easy step-by-step break down of what it takes to build or renovate a project in the city. This is a huge step forward for Paducah!
These tools are free to use at https://scopemyproject.paducahky.gov and you can find a helpful short video showing how to use the tools at https://youtu.be/vevCTDibCCg
Anyone needing assistance in working the portals I would personally be happy to help!
